In 1983 I was working for Compugraphic Corporation they were a Fortune 500 corporation and a manufacturer of typesetting equipment. It was here that I was introduced to the first generation of computerized signmaking equipment. Compugraphic had contracted to work with Gerber Scientific to supply font technology for their new sign making equipment called the Signmaker III, and we were also selling a version of this equipment called ARTY that was modified to our specs. We focused on selling to our large graphic arts customer base. After 2 short years Compugraphic decided to terminate the Arty program. At this point I saw the automated Sign Industry as still being in its infancy, so in 1986 I left Compugraphic and started Supplies Unlimited Inc.

Specializing in Vinyl:
When we first started out we were selling vinyl & application tape. We stock a very large selection of vinyl both perforated & non perforated in various sizes including High performance premium (cast films) as well as long life intermediate (calandered) products. Over the years our product line has expanded to offer many other products geared towards Computerized signmaking and wide format digital printing. We ship supplies by UPS or FEDEX daily.

Computerized Sign Graphic Equipment reseller:
We began selling signmaking equipment in 1987, initially as HTD distributors. The HTD system was a tremendous value at that time offering the ability to combine text & graphics quickly and to output to a friction cutter which proved more cost effective. We presently represent Roland Digital vinyl cutters and Digital printers as well as Graphtec, and SUMMA.

We also sell Flexisign Software which offers tremendous capability for all types of signage and printing. We specialize in providing our customers with the latest state of the art equipment they need to get the job done.
